When the whole of Delhi NCR was reeling under severe cold, the government school in Shivaji Nagar made its 350 students sit out in open in the courtyard because the classrooms had become a stopgap warehouse.
Students from Om Nagar were also shifted to this school some time back as their school was undergoing some construction work. The Shivaji Nagar school was already running in double shift to accommodate all when the education department stocked it with textbooks which had to be distributed across various districts during the next academic year.
