CBSE has laid down some strict norms from this academic year for those who will be shifting schools in class 10 and 12. CBSE advises not to change schools in these classes until it is inevitable. This is because the registration of students starts in class 9 and 11 respectively and a change in schools at this juncture increases their paperwork and chances of errors. Proper reasons will have to be provided to the board. On ‘grounds of better education’ will not be considered.  Transfers, family shifting and medical grounds would require proper documents in sport of same. Henceforth the students wanting to shift due ‘better education’ will have to furnish the required documents and admitting as well as leaving schools will also have to provide the records of the previous 5 years of CBSE Board results.
