Dubai Police has trained over 200 students to become ‘safety Ambassadors’ to patrol their school campus and report cases of violence, bullying, negligence and abuse. They will also create awareness against such crimes and contact the Women and Children’s Department of Dubai Police if need be. To improve upon safety and vigilance in classrooms the Dubai Police have trained 204 students drawn from 18 government and private schools. Qualified ‘Safety Ambassadors’ will wear a badge on their arms. This programme will expand to more schools too.
