According to Educational World India School Ranking 2019-20, four government day schools and three government residential schools from Kerala have made it to the respective top 10 list.
Among the Day school rankings, Government Vocational Higher Secondary School for Girls Nadakkavu, Kozhikode has moved to second place from third in 2018. This school has become to Model School in the state and is the most sought after.
Kendriya Vidyalaya of Pattom Thiruvananthapuram has secured the 4th position. Kendriya Vidyalaya Keltron Nagar Kannur and Kendriya Vidyalaya Puranattukara Thrissur were placed ninth and tenth respectively
In the Government Boarding Schools category, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Chennithala, Alappuzha ranked 3rd, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya at Chendaya in Kannur got the 5th position and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Neriamangalam Ernakulam retained its 7th position from the previous year.
The survey assess parameters include infrastructure, faculty, academic reputation, safety and hygiene.
