CBSE has been awarded the Digital India Award under “Exemplary Online Service” category for its digital initiatives undertaken recently. This award is to facilitate those ICT based services by a government department whose services effectively contribute in enhancing efficiency, productivity and impart transparency and accountability in the government process.
Digi-locker, Centre Locator App, geo-tagged time based tracking and monitoring of confidential materials, hosting various educational materials and results on its official and affiliated websites are some of their initiatives.
Such awards are to boost those government entities that have made a significant contribution in implementing e-governance in an exemplary and innovative way to achieve efficiency and transparency.
