More than 350 students from North India participated in ‘F1 in Schools India’ competition. North India Regional Finals 1 were held at the Suncity School, Gurgaon.

F1 in Schools is an international STEM competition open to school children wherein a team of 3-6 students will have to design and manufacture a miniature car powered by CO₂ cartridges attached to a track by a nylon wire from the official F1 Model Block using CAD/CAM design tools.

This competition is organised by Time of Sports and looks at the overall performance while granting ranks to the teams whereby simultaneously promoting STEM and inculcating a sense of entrepreneurship skills in the students. 15 teams have qualified for the National Finals.

Team Orion Racing from Scottish High International School was adjudged as the Regional Champions with team Savitar from Genesis Global School Noida as Regional Runner-up and Knight Fury from Ambience Public School Safdarjung as regional second runner-up amongst others.
