Ensuring safety of school children on road has always been a matter of concern for the authorities. Under ‘Operation clean’ the Guatam Budh Nagar district Police challaned 427 school buses and vans on 11th July for flouting safety norms. Rs 26,700 was collected through the challans. Over 702 buses were let off with a warning to comply with all the prescribed safety measures when children are on board.
