A draft report on New Education Policy has been submitted to the HRD by nine-member K Kasturirangan committee. Key recommendations-
- Strictly implement the three-language formula with Hindi mandatory till class 8 pan India
- Uniform syllabus across country for science and maths
- Devanagari script to be developed for tribal dialects
- Promote skill based education
