Vidyashilp Academy in Bengaluru has established a recycling unit in its campus and generates power from same for everyday use. It also generates 800 sheets of recycled paper on the campus on daily basis. They have a mini waste paper recycling unit and machines too for pulping, screw pressing, drying and smoothening the paper. The campus annual reports, newsletters, invitations and program brochures for events that are held on the campus are printed on this recycled paper. It not only stands second at national level in ‘Behtar India Campaign’ but has also set an example for other schools.
