MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development) and CBSE has asked all the schools to prepare and share with it the calendar of activities to mark the Constitution Day falling 26th November. The celebrations to culminate on Dr Ambedkar Jayanti on 14th April 2020. The idea is to create more awareness about the constitution like reading of preamble and fundamental duties. Pledge taking ceremony during morning assembly time, organizing mock parliament are some of the suggested activities. Students will also be encouraged to participate in Olympiads and online quizzes organized on MyGov platform.
Eminent personalities will be invited by the schools from different walks of life to disseminate the message of Fundamental Duties. Debates, essay competitions, cultural programs, quiz competitions, seminars and lectures will be organized at School, District, State and National level and the winners shall be suitably rewarded.
