US First Lady Melania Trump Visited Delhi Government’s Sarvodya Co-ed Senior School at South Moti Bagh and spent time with the students during their ‘Happiness Class’. She found the happiness curriculum ‘very inspiring’ when she saw the children begin the day practising mindfulness, reading and listening to stories shared by their classmates and connecting with nature. She also said that the school promoted the values of kindness, compassion and respect which shall bring a positive change in the society. 

She also spent time reading with primary students and watched a yoga class where the students were performing the Surya Namaskar. School band from AGDAV Model Town played the bagpipes while the students from the primary school showered her with petals. A cultural show was also put up for her by the students. Ms Trump walked into the audience and interacted with them. She also gave a girl a warm hug.
