Among the several major changes being introduced in the JEE (Main) exam to be held in January 2020 is that students from any stream who are interested in pursuing a Bachelor’s in Planning will be eligible provided they have studied mathematics in XII. Also, for the first time in 20 years, the number of questions in physics, chemistry, mathematics and engineering drawing have been reduced for architecture aspirants.
Initially students who had taken up physics, chemistry and mathematics in class 12 were eligible to take JEE for Bachelors’ in Planning course. Now only Mathematics in class 12 is the criteria. They will also now not take drawing test which will be held only for students who want to take up architecture. The changes have the approval from the Ministry of Human.
