Introduction of a new subject – health science by CBSE in the new academic session starting from April is under review by the Ministry of Human Resources Development. This subject will equip the students with basic knowledge in first aid and healthcare which will enable them provide immediate relief during emergencies.
The syllabus for the new course to be introduced for class 9, 10, 11 and 12 has been developed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in collaboration with the All India Institute of Medical Science.
