Some schools had been running certain classes in the name of coaching institutes on their campus. CBSE has issued a directive to all its affiliated schools to shut down all the coaching centres being run in the school premises with immediate effect. All schools are to stop any commercial activities being run inside the premises else they can be liable to a strict action by the board.
These classes have a major impact on the classroom activities and the students as they are unable to strike a balance between classroom, coaching and personal life. As per the board rules, teachers are forbidden to engage in private tuitions.
