Subject-wise required pass marks for classes 10 and 12 including theory and practical/project/internal assessment have been declared by CBSE. To clear class 12, the students need to obtain minimum of 33% in theory and 33% in practical/project/internal assessment in aggregate in each subject. 

As regards class 10, students are required to obtain overall of 33% marks in each subject, both theory and practical/internal assessment taken together. 

Practical/project/internal assessment will be conducted by the schools and shall be examined by an external examiner designated by CBSE. For those who have taken up NCC as a subject, the practical exam of class 12 students will be conducted by an examiner designated by Directorate of NCC. For class 10, there shall only be an internal assessment and no external examiner will be appointed by CBSE/Directorate of NCC. 

Schools will be required to upload the marks on CBSE official website after practical, project/internal assessment.
