The celebration committee of Kolkata will be organising a year long several programmes for the school children to apprise them with the ideas and principles of Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary.
A twelve member committee of people from all walks of life has been formed for Mahatma Gandhi for this. Mobile exhibition, Interactive programmes in various schools across the state and inter-school essay writing competition on topics pertaining to Gandhiji’s thoughts and related issues will be organised to familiarize the present generation of his long forgotten words and deeds.
