UT education department, Chandigarh is all set to launch a program wherein the progress of all the students of the Government schools will be monitored on daily basis. This will be beneficial in improving the quality of education of these schools. An initiative of a teacher, the department was quick to adopt it and formed teams for its further development. The program is due to be launched in a week’s time along with learning outcome booklets designed by NCERT.
These booklets contain class wise teaching targets for the teachers with the information on what the students should learn and in which class. The progress sheet help in assessing whether the targets were achieved or not.
