For class X board examination 2019 too a combined score of 33% of internal assessment and board examination will be considered ‘pass’ in that subject. Just like last year, a student will get a zero in case he is absent during practical or internal assessment and the result will be computed accordingly. Earlier students were required to secure 33% in theory and practical separately to be eligible to qualify in that subject.
All skill education (vocational) subject board exams will be conducted in the later half of February along with few other not so popular academic subjects. The core papers will be held in March. It would be interesting to note that CBSE offers over 240 subjects to its examine es of class 10 and 12. Language is the only compulsory subject for the students of class 12 while class 10 has languages, mathematics, science and social science as compulsory subjects.
