Involvement of parents is very crucial in the learning process of a child. While parents too want to help their children but sometimes they themselves are out of touch with the subject and the teaching methodologies have also evolved.
Temple Independent School District has added a “Just for Parents” section in their YouTube Channel containing lessons for students across all grade levels. Now parents can refresh their memory and follow the same steps as the teacher in the classroom by accessing the YouTube lessons. These videos are useful in letting the parents know of the curriculum topics being covered with the link to relevant YouTube lesson. These can also include important announcements which would otherwise be sent either through email or notices.
