According to Anne Longfield, England’s Children’s Commissioner it is imperative for schools to have NHS counsellors for students to tackle any crisis in mental welfare with the focus on providing early help. Cyberbullying through social media is becoming a serious threat and an increasing number of students are seeking mental health treatment through schools. As per her report more than 338000 children referred to child and adolescent mental health services last year, only 31% received treatment within a year and providing help as soon as the problem arises is beneficial as youngsters enter adulthood.
